The Mixtape are delighted to perform nationwide and internationally.

For venues requiring longer travel times, additional costs apply to cover:

• Accommodation (where necessary)
• Fuel
• Extra expenses
• Fees for additional time spent in transit

For events outside of Ireland, costs are calculated based on:

• Flights and other travel expenses
• Accommodation
• Equipment rental

Please check the list below for your venue's travel charges. If your venue is not listed, let us know the venue and address below and we will be happy to provide a tailored travel quote.

• All fees include all necessary sound and lighting equipment, and are inclusive of VAT at 23%.

• The Mixtape will liaise with your wedding venue and will arrive at the venue one hour before the scheduled performance time.

• We like to allow four hours for the band & DJ, split into two hours for the live band show and two hours for the DJ set. The optional sax/DJ performance upgrade includes the addition of live sax for the first 30 minutes of the two hour DJ performance.

• We work with a select number of independent DJs who continue The Mixtape ethos of high energy entertainment throughout their set. An independent sound and lighting system are included in the DJ upgrade fee. Requests are possible either in advance or from your guests on the night!

• Based on the Weddings we have played, a guideline start time for the entertainment is between 9.30pm and 10pm. The band will play up to midnight at the latest, and the DJ must finish by 2am. In order to ensure enough time to allow for at least a two hour DJ set the band must hand over to the DJ either before or by midnight, keeping your guests dancing into the early hours!

• A booking fee of €700 is required to secure your booking and is deducted from the total fee. Payment can be made by bank transfer, or if you would prefer it's possible to pay by card. Please note card payments are subject to an additional fee of €16.

• The booking fee secures your booking and includes access to planning and client support from your very first email right up to the big day.

• The booking fee is non refundable. However, should you decide to cancel your booking, and The Mixtape then secure an equivalent alternative booking after your cancellation, your booking fee may then become refundable, provided the cancellation happens more than six months prior to your wedding date and your booking fee has not already been transferred.

• It’s possible to add either the brass or DJ upgrades after you have made your initial booking, but please note this will depend on availability at that time.

• It’s not a problem to cancel either upgrade, provided the cancellation takes place more than six months before your event date. Any cancellations within six months of the event date are liable for 50% of the fee for that upgrade.

• In the unfortunate event that government restrictions prevent your booking from going ahead as planned, we are happy to refund any balance paid and transfer your non refundable booking fee to secure an alternative available date in the future.

• Supplying the highest standard of wedding entertainment is extremely important to us. Every show we play is a part of one of the most important days in a couple’s lives. We take this responsibility very seriously. With this in mind we try to allow for every possible contingency (illness, injury, unavailability) to ensure that we provide our couples with the highest standard of entertainment at every show.

All of our band members perform together regularly. We’re dedicated to working with the very best musicians, and all of our members have attained the high level of skill and experience we demand. Many of our members also play in original bands who tour the UK, Europe, USA and beyond.

Our shows tend to be booked over twelve months in advance, and The Mixtape perform at weddings and private parties every weekend. While it’s not possible to guarantee specific individual members, we guarantee a consistent high standard for every member of the group, and for each and every show we perform.

We work hard to ensure that our musicians are trained to the point where each show is absolutely consistent in terms of experience, delivery and quality. Your wedding day (and our reputation!) are too important to us to have it any other way.

• Your booking is not considered final until you receive an email confirming receipt of your booking fee and confirmation of your booking.

• The balance of payment is due any time up to ten working days before your event date, and is payable by bank transfer.
